Marching On

Yesterday was the first day of March. The start of this new month brings a lot of change for me.

It will be the first month where I'll have to find my new "normal."

It will be the month where I'll learn how to say "goodbye" to certain things and "hello" to others.

It will be the month where we'll head into a new season; a season full of blossoming and the beginning of new growth.

It will be the month where each of us will have a little more luck than we usually do - and even more if we're Irish ;)

This will be the first month without my Mom. So, no more holding out on things. In honor of her, I'm going to make this the month where I really start to make my dreams a reality. With March will come change. Good change. Change that I bring about by making goals, accomplishing them, and not letting myself fall back into old habits.

As the trees start to bloom, so will I.

What does the start of this month mean to you?

I would love love love to say something eloquent as to what this month will mean for me... And all I can think is "weight gain and 4 more weeks closer to this baby's eviction date". So horrible. Going to totally try to see things differently and more along the same lines you do - I swear I'm going to try :)

You have such a positive outlook on everything and I look up to you for that! I wish that I could think of something that will be good for me this month besides just living. Maybe finish my 101 in 1001. It's taken me a while longer than I have thought. Have a great day!

You are a strong person and have such an oustanding perspective on life.

I love how you're going to make your dreams a reality, girl! I can't wait to read about all the exciting and positive things that are going to happen in your world! :) And now you've got a kick butt guardian angel to help you make those changes a reality. :) That's what I think my dad is doing... being a guardian angel for me. :)

Wow I am blown away by your strength and optimism. I cannot imagine the pain and heartache of losing your mom. I lost my mom when I was a baby so I never got the chance to meet or know her. Sometimes I wonder if that makes it easier or harder. I am very sorry for your loss, but it looks like you are going to be just fine. And I wish you the best turning dreams into reality :)

Sincerely, Nicole

You are beautiful, seriously a beautiful person. I was actually talking to my own mom the other day, whose had to undergo surgery and such in the past week which was completely unexpected. I talked to her about you, and I don't even know you. I've been praying for you as well. You're so strong, and you have the world at the tip of your toes and I know your mom is looking down so proud of you.

Keep your head up and let your light keep shining. I'm always here for a chat!
