What's On My Feet | Vlog

It's time to VLOG again! I've been horrible about getting many outfit posts up this Summer. Lucky for you, these ladies below are hosting this "What's on Your Feet?" vlog link-up so you'll get to see what I've been wearing on my tootsies! As for the rest of the outfits I've been wearing, I suppose I should start taking more pictures? Yes. We'll just make that a goal for the rest of the year :)

Anyway, watch and enjoy! Like I mention in the video, I did not pay full price for any of the shoes I mentioned. Talk about a frugal fanny...

And just because I love you guys [and those Steve Madden wedges] so much, you CAN get some of the colors on sale here from DSW. Score! I really wanted these olive green ones [again with the color theme] but they didn't have them in my size at the store. Unfortunately, they are out of my size online as well. Shucks.

I'll say it again - best shoes ever. I'm pretty sure I have worn them for nearly 24 hours straight. That's how much I love them.

Part of Me | Bucket List

That's right. It's happening. For the first time in about a year, you get to watch me VLOG! [video log]

The reason I titled this post Part of Me is because 1) It's Katy Perry week on my blog [mmhmm!] and 2) this past year has been one heck of a ride for me.

That's where this bucket list came in.
This is my life and I will never, ever let anyone dull my sparkle again.

Like Katy Perry said in her movie, "this is my second chance."

God is giving me this time as a single woman to accomplish so many of the things in my heart.

I have been taking advantage of this time and have already checked off many of the "me" things I've wanted to do.

In just this past month, I bought a new car and started acting again!

And now my bucket list awaits!

I owe it to myself to continue glowing.

To never, ever allow another person into my life who has or will put me out.

This life is too short and there is too much happiness to be had and things to experience...

Fully, whole-heartedly, and with bright eyes.

So, here's to the part of me that's always been here and always will be.

The girl with a big heart and big dreams.

No matter what.

Hi, My Name Is

I’ve loved watching vlogs for some time now. Don’t get me wrong – I LOVE reading blogs, but watching vlogs is so much fun too. So, I never really thought twice about filming my own vlogs. It was something I knew I wanted to do occasionally. I figured I’d give Dear Darling’s Look Who’s Vlogging link-up a shot. It’d give me something to vlog about {kind of like “let’s give ‘em something to talk about”} and give you all the chance to see my quirkiness and fun facial expressions. Ha.

This week’s question to answer was simply to introduce ourselves. I thought this was appropriate since my blog is new. So, whether you’re just seeing my blog for the first time or have been a reader for the past month, hopefully you’ll go away from this having learned a thing or two about this girl!

And when I say I’m afraid of the wind, I’m mainly afraid of the things that could happen because of the wind. You know – branches crashing through your window, having your car get flipped while driving in it. The usual. Hey, it happens!

So, consider this the first day of third grade. I just told you my name and favorite color and now it’s your turn to do the same :) Go get your vlog on!

Surprise! Trying Something New

As promised, today I have something new and fun to show you on my blog! I’ve always LOVED watching people’s vlogs. (Vlog=Blog in video format!) Call me crazy but it’s a fun way to get a different & even better glimpse into someone’s life.

If you blog, you clearly like to read about new people and I’m sure you would agree that looking through pictures people post about their lives helps you get to know them even better, right? Well, maybe after this video and hearing what I sound like and seeing all my quirks, you’ll {hopefully} like me even more! :) I could be wrong and really you’ll just see that I’m a total dork and never come back ;) For those of you who already know me, well, this is just an added little treat!

I found out about an awesome company called Eco-Emi which I’ll explain more about in the video but basically they’re all about eco-friendly products and send you goodies each month. It’s like Christmas morning each month!! (Okay, minus the eggnog and lights and “White Christmas” playing in the background. Just go with it, alright?)

I wanted to do a little “haul” showing you guys everything I got from them this month and figured a vlog would be the easiest way to do it! Plus, it’d be fun to switch it up a little! I know the sound and lighting aren’t perfect but I think it still gets the job done :)

P.S. I know some of you are at work/school and maybe can’t watch/listen to this right now so I’ll post the wrapped pictures as a teaser of what you’ll have to come back and watch later!
