[Snapped this beauty yesterday on the way home]
But I still had a few moments where life got to me. You know - the frustrating moments of exasperation. The moments where you actually for a second question whether everything really will work out or if you're doing something wrong. Or if you aren't doing enough. Or if you are thinking too much. Then it just becomes a bit of a mind game where you have to literally stop yourself and say, hey - what's the worst that could happen?
I won't go into detail about my frustrating moments of exasperation because I'm going to be really vague and annoying right now. But not too long after my meltdown of a moment, a few events and conversations happened that brought about an immense amount of peace and happiness. I even remember saying a prayer of thanks in my head for those moments right there. Those moments reminded me of the importance of patience, even when it seems as though you don't have enough time. And to just be grateful.
I know for some of you, life has hit in ways this week that you didn't see coming. And so, instead of posting about something goofy like Pretty Little Liars again, I wanted to post some words to leave you with for the weekend. It's a message I think all of us can try to remind ourselves of daily:
"Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself. Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections but instantly set about remedying them -- every day begin the task anew."
- St. Francis de Sales
[ Shoutout to my high school's patron saint ;) ]
Whatever you're going through right now, whether it's in your control or not... just have patience with yourself. We don't have all the answers to life's crazy questions, mysteries, and curve balls. It's amazing how much patience will teach us in the end though...
Wishing you all a safe and beautiful first weekend of March :)

WOW you have no idea how much I needed to hear this today! You are such a blessing and I am saying a prayer for you and this message right now! Thank you! I am definitely taking March to focus on myself. And I will definitely try to be a little more patient with myself.
This post hits home with me BIG TIME right now. This post happened just at the right time. And I'm going to take it, and have some patience, everything will workout :)
Thanks for this Chelsea. I'm sure you are doing exactly what you are supposed to right now. That quote is perfect. It seems to point to the fact that we'll never have all the answers, but need to have peace in your mind and faith that things will sort themselves out and be as they should. Happy weekend! The weather is going to be killer tomorrow!
